Agricultural Health and Safety Network
In 1988, the Canadian Centre for Rural and Agricultural Health partnered with the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) and six Rural Municipalities to found the Agricultural Health and Safety Network. Over the last 30 years, the Network has steadily increased to 194 RMs including over 27,000 Saskatchewan farm families.
Farm Safety Drawing Contest Winners
A big success - Congratulations to all!
The Farm Safety Drawing Contest attracted a total of 262 entries across the 5-8 and 9-13 age categories. As the inaugural Discovery Days contest focused on farm safety, the organizers were thrilled by the impressive number of drawings submitted.
We extend our gratitude to all the children for their creative representations of farm safety and for enthusiastically sharing their knowledge on the topic. We also appreciate the parents and teachers for fostering discussions about farm safety themes in preparation for the drawings and their submissions. Additionally, a big thank you goes to our member RMs for displaying and promoting the contest poster in their offices and schools.
