CCRAH 40th Anniversary Celebration
We celebrated CCRAH’s 40th Anniversary of January 9 at CCRAH. Members of CCRAH, USask Leadership, Office of the Vice-Dean of Research (OVDR) and college of medicine joined us in the James Dosman Boardroom to celebrate this momentous occasion with cake, cupcakes, and kind words about the impact of CCRAH.
We will be continuing the celebration of the 40th anniversary on June 15 before SHARP 2026! Attendance is by invitation only.

SIPPA meeting with Federal Minister and MP
The Canadian Centre for Rural and Agricultural Health was happy to host The Honorable Marjorie Michel, Minister of Health, the Honorable Buckley Belanger, MP Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River and representatives of Society of Rural Physicians of Canada, and the Saskatchewan International Physician Practice Assessment (SIPPA) program on January 16, 2026.
St. Patrick's Day 2026
CCRAH’s social committee hosted St. Patrick’s Day festivities. We had a spin the wheel challenge for those who wore green, did an Irish jig, or came up with a CCRAH Irish limerick. Participants had the opportunity to win one of three kinds of prizes, including cups and chocolate, st. Patrick's day hats, candy and coffee cups, leprechaun rubber duck, or Guinness!
