Her research methodology also involves the use of administrative databases to conduct population-based studies. As such, in her recent experience with the Injury Prevention Centre, she has developed and implemented epidemiological studies about injuries and other relevant health conditions in Albertans using provincial data from Alberta Health. In collaboration with Alberta Health, the Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA) Association and the University of Alberta, she has explored the burden of injuries and other chronic diseases in the Métis population of Alberta.
