Research Opportunity - Participants needed!

Seeking informal caregivers (care partners) of persons with dementia to take part in a study on a remotely-delivered therapeutic intervention.

LOOKING FOR PARTICIPANTS

We invite you to participate in a research study aimed at Improving Social Support of Caregivers of Persons with Dementia.

RaDAR Trainee August Kortzman, a Graduate Student in the Clinical Psychology program in the Department of Psychology is leading this project. They are looking for informal caregivers (care partners) of persons with dementia to take part in a study on a non-pharmaceutical therapeutic intervention. This remotely delivered intervention is designed to enhance interpersonal relationships within the caregiving population to improve your level of social support, social connectedness, and mental health.

You would be asked to: undergo a brief screening/intake assessment, fill out questionnaires, and attend several treatment sessions.

Your participation would involve 11-13 weekly treatment sessions, each of which is approximately 60 minutes.
