Jeremy was born and raised around and on the Beardy's and Okemasis Cree Nation. Jeremy became the Health Director for the Willow Cree Health Centre in 2012 and elected as a Councilor in 2014. Jeremy served on Chief and Council for Beardy's and Okemasis Cree Nation until 2022. Jeremy has worked with Drs. Dosman, Pahwa, Kirychuk and Karunanayake since 2012 on the First Nations Lung Health, Sleep Health, and Mental Health projects and continues to help move those projects forward. Jeremy is currently working with Dr. Kirychuk as a Professional Research Associate.
