Adriana’s dissertation in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology was titled ‘Physical Activity and Chronic Back Disorders in Canadian Adults’. She investigated the relationship between physical activity and chronic back disorders among adult Canadians using 3 different Statistics Canada surveys. She recently published one chapter of her dissertation in BMC Public Health and will work with co-supervisors Brenna Bath and Catherine Trask to published the remaining 2 manuscript chapters. Adriana will be starting a post-doctoral fellowship in Québec investigating health care utilization among people with chronic pain.
