CCHSA Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. David Kingston has accepted a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Biomechanics at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. There he will join their growing research-intensive group and contribute his expertise in lower limb biomechanics (not to mention his well-tested hardiness for prairie winters!)
While at CCHSA, Dr. Kingston worked in the Ergonomics Lab co-supervised by Dr. Catherine Trask and Dr. Audrey Zucker-Levin. In 2019 he received the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation Top Fellowship Award in Socio-Health for his ErgoLab project “An impactful step: Investigating lower limb joint loads during farm machinery egress” .
Although it is sad to say goodbye, we are delighted to see Dr. Kingston receiving this great opportunity and we are certain that he will go on to be an asset and ambassador to his new institution and community just as he was in Saskatchewan. Best wishes and congratulations!
