This year the annual awards gala hosted by the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation, Santé 2019, was held in Regina for the first time and CCHSA was well-represented. CCHSA Postdoctoral fellow Dr. David Kingston won the Top Research Fellowship Excellence Award (Socio-Health) for his project titled: An impactful step: Investigating lower limb joint loads during farm machinery egress. Dr Kingston is one of the 2019-2020 SHRF Establishment Grant and Research Fellowship recipients. The top fellowship awardees are selected by the SHRF review committee from all the successful grantees in a given year. These awards recognize top-ranked applications from researchers and teams according to a rigorous peer-review process by committees of active researchers and health professionals. Dr. Kingston works in the CCHSA Ergonomics Lab and is supervised by Dr. Catherine Trask.
