Background Education, Training, Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (University of Saskatchewan in 1990).  
• 2003 – Audiometric Technician Course (Grant McEwan College)
• 1995 – Clinical Drug Trial Coordinating Training Seminar (Saskatchewan Drug Research Institute)

Role at the Centre:

Leslie is a research nurse who started at the Institute in 1996.   She has assisted with various research projects related to respiratory health and dementia.

Current Research Project:

• Strategies to Improve the Care of Persons with Dementia in Rural and Remote Areas.  (Funded by CIHR Institute on Aging, CIHR Institute of Health Services & Policy Research, CIHR Rural & Northern Health Initiative, Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation, University of Saskatchewan; Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan; and Telehealth Saskatchewan).
